Staff Selection Commission commonly referred to as SSC every year organizes Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam for the recruitment of eligible candidates to fill up about 30 posts under different departments. The eligibility criteria are graduation. The candidates who are appearing in final year are also eligible to take part in this exam provided they get their graduation degree before 1 August 2016.
The Exam Process will consist of a 3 Tier process which is as follows:-
SSC CGL Exam Tier I Pattern
It will be an Computer based written Examination containing overall 100 questions in 75 minutes.These questions will be distributed equally between
- Quantitative Aptitude
- General English
- General Awareness
SSC CGL Exam Tier II Pattern
It will also be Computer based written Examination. It will contain 4 Papers out of which two are mandatory and two are optional.
- Quantitative Aptitude which is a mandatory paper consisting 100 questions and 2 hours duration
- General English which is a mandatory paper consisting 200 questions and 2 hours duration
- Statistics which is an optional paper consisting 100 questions and 2 hours duration
- Finance & Economics which is an optional paper of 2 hours duration. Number of questions is yet to be notified by SSC.
